Is this brush for powder or cream eyeshadows?
Our brushes are designed specially to enhance our other products whether you prefer cream + liquid shadows, or a pressed powder formula. Use this brush to seamlessly diffuse the edges of your cream shadow or to build up the color of a pressed pigment in your crease. Just remember to clean the brush in between uses, especially if you’re switching between wet and dry products in order to maintain proper performance.
How do I clean my makeup brushes?
Makeup buildup on your brushes decreases their performance, preventing them from smoothly distributing products. We recommend using a mild soap to clean your brushes along with our Brush Hero™ Brush Cleansing Pad to gently remove makeup, dirt, oils, bacteria + buildup. Start by holding the brush by the handle with fibers facing down, wet your brush with lukewarm water and apply a small amount of soap to the cleansing pad. Then swirl your brush in circular motions over the silicone ridges to activate the soap. Once you've built up a lather, repeat until the water runs clear. Rinse out brush completely, then gently reshape the bristles before laying your makeup brush flat on a clean towel to air dry.
To prevent your makeup brushes from shedding, wash and rinse them with the bristles pointed downward and then lay the brushes flat to dry. This will prevent water from seeping into the base of your makeup brush, which over time can weaken the glue that holds your brush bristles in place.
