Isabelle (Izzy) Grace Martin lived a full, vibrant, beautiful life and used her life for good. Even before her diagnosis with osteosarcoma, Izzy was motivated to help those in need. She constantly asked questions about the unhoused neighbors in her community and how she could help. Her faith informed her sense of justice, driving her to strive for more. Donating just one pair of shoes to a clothing drive wasn’t enough –  she had to donate four. 

The #TeamIzzy Foundation was founded by Izzy just months before she passed after a courageous battle with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. The organization advocates for children with cancer through awareness, research, and familial support. 

Thrive Causemetics Giving Partner The Warrior Mama Project supports families impacted by childhood cancer. One of their beneficiaries was Izzy’s family. Emily Herrell, Founder of The Warrior Mama Project, was so inspired by Izzy’s story that she nominated her to be a Thrive Causemetics Namesake. We know her legacy will continue to make an infinite impact on all those who are fortunate enough to hear her story.

On June 1st, 2023, Thrive Causemetics surprised Izzy’s mom Christine at our Innovation Center in Los Angeles, CA, with the namesake honor, alongside The Warrior Mama Project’s Emily Herrell. We couldn’t have been more excited to pamper and honor these two fierce, world-changing women.
