Keeping the tip of your brow pencil in top shape helps you achieve the best end result and most natural-looking brows. When the tip dulls, it creates a wider surface area, which makes hair-like strokes difficult to accomplish. It can also make it harder to cleanly outline the border of your eyebrow, or fill in thinner areas like the tail. Since the Instant Brow Fix™ Quick Fill Eyebrow Pencil has a specially designed Adaptive Multi-Edge Applicator™, this tip can’t be sharpened with a standard pencil sharpener. Luckily, this pencil features a built-in sharpener and spoolie for precise shaping and blending, making it the ultimate all-in-one tool for effortlessly full brows. Check out the graphic and + explanation below for a quick guide on how to sharpen in three3 simple steps:
Step One: Accessing The Sharpener
To reveal the built-in sharpener, twist the entire brush section counter-clockwise until it detaches from the rest of the pencil.
Step Two: Refining The Blunt Edge
Holding the pencil at a 45° angle, lightly glide the tip back and forth across the opening to sharpen. There should be enough pressure for the shavings to fall through the opening, but applying too much pressure can cause the pencil to break. (Pro Tip: Only twist up a small amount of product before sharpening, as a longer tip can become fragile and more prone to breakage!)
Step Three: Enjoy Your Freshly Sharpened Tip
Once you have completed sharpening the pencil, gently tap off any remaining shavings. Then, reinsert the sharpener into the brush end of the pencil and twist clockwise until it’s fully secured. Now you’re ready to enjoy your perfectly sharpened tip!
