Lori serves as the Addiction Recovery Specialist at House of Cherith, supporting women as they break free from addiction and rebuild their lives after trauma. She holds a Certified Addiction Counselor Level II (CACII) certification and a deeply trauma-informed approach to recovery.
Through one-on-one sessions, group classes, peer support, and recovery retreats, Lori walks alongside women navigating the complex connection between trauma and substance use. Many survivors of sex trafficking and domestic abuse experience addiction as both a coping mechanism and a form of control. Lori’s work centers on building trust and creating personalized paths toward sustainable healing.
House of Cherith provides safe housing and comprehensive support services for women recovering from sexual exploitation. From emergency safe housing to long-term and transitional care, their programs focus on sobriety, emotional stability, employment readiness, and family reunification, helping women move from crisis to independence.
