Meet Dominique Alex, the inspiring force behind our Brilliant Eye Brightener™ Sparkling Liquid Eyeliner in shade ‘Black Silver Shimmer’!

Dominique serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mary’s Place, an organization dedicated to ensuring that no child sleeps outside. With a background in early learning, advocacy, and family support, Dominique has spent her career centering families with low incomes and those experiencing homelessness.

At the heart of her leadership is a simple belief: how a child starts in life matters. More than half of the guests at Mary’s Place shelters are children, and Dominique remains committed to building a community where families have safety, stability, and housing so they can truly thrive.

Since 1999, Mary’s Place has helped thousands of women and families move out of homelessness and into more stable futures. Through emergency family shelters in the Greater Seattle area, mobile outreach programs, and housing and employment services, Mary’s Place keeps families safe. Their programs provide meals, education support, community resources, and specialized services.

Mary’s Place was Thrive Causemetics’ first Giving Partner serving the unhoused community, and we have proudly partnered with them since 2017. Located in Seattle, WA, Mary’s Place has received over $2 million in donated Thrive Causemetics products to support the women and families they serve. Together, we’ve led makeup masterclasses at their shelters, volunteered in their kitchens to serve warm meals, and sorted essential items (including our clean beauty products) at their warehouse.
