Frequently Asked Questions

    • Are the Virtual Consultations free?

      Yes! Our three Virtual Consultations services are free. We know it can be challenging to shop for makeup online, so we launched Virtual Consultations to help you find the best products and make the most of them once you receive them.

    • Can I use my phone or is it computer only?

      Fantastic question! You can use either. We recommend that regardless of the device you use, you follow these recommendations for lighting. Your consultation will be through Zoom, and you will receive a link for the virtual meeting room ahead of your appointment time. If you are using a phone or tablet for this consultation, you’ll need to download the Zoom app here. Simply scroll down to the Zoom Mobile Apps section and choose between Apple’s App Store and Google Play for Android.

    • What do I need to have prepared before my consultation?

      If you’d like to do a shade or complexion match, we highly recommend you follow these guidelines for lighting so we’re able to provide the most accurate match for you. Other than that, there is no preparation needed for your Virtual Consultation. 

    • Should I do the consultation with or without my makeup on?

      If you would like to do a complexion match (finding the right CC cream or concealer shade for your skin tone), we recommend arriving to the meeting with no makeup and in a well-lit room. This will allow our Beauty Advisor to pick the best match based on your complexion and undertones. 

    • Do I have to purchase the products recommended?

      There is no obligation to purchase a product when you schedule a consultation with one of our Beauty Advisors. They are here to answer all of your beauty questions without the pressure of purchasing. 

    • Will I be emailed the list of products recommended?

      Yes! After your Virtual Consultation has ended, your Beauty Advisor will share a tailored list of your recommended products via email.

    • Can I do a consultation for just one product?

      Absolutely! Our team is here to help you find the perfect shade for you and share tips and tricks about the products. If you’d prefer to get matched via text message, you can always send us a selfie at (310) 620-1535 and a Beauty Advisor will make a tailored recommendation for you there. 

    • What if I want a session longer than 20 minutes?

      At this time, we are only offering 20-minute consultations. However, we’re also available to help by text message, chat, or phone. Visit our Contact Us page here. 

    • Can I book an appointment for myself and a friend?

      At this time, our Virtual Consultations are limited to one person per appointment. If you have a friend or family member who’s interested in a virtual consultation, we recommend having them sign up for an appointment so they can work with a Beauty Advisor one-on-one. 

    • Do I get to pick the Beauty Advisor?

      We have an amazing team of talented Beauty Advisors. While you’re not able to chose a specific advisor, we’re confident you’ll love each and every expert on our team.
